A huge amout of fans came to see races such as Formule Renault Worldseries,Eurocup,Northeuropeancup,clio cup, megane trophy, and Renault f1 team show. After a first race where I lost 2 positions by stupid mistakes, I have been able to come back in the top 20 during the second race in the afternoon and score another point in the championship. The team was happy as we all worked a lot to improve and we can start to see the results of our long term efforts. Again and again....thanks to everyone who made this new point possible.On the human side, i have been able to spend some time with Sakon Yamamoto again. It s always a pleasure to see and talk to you. Thanks for the cool diner on saturday night!!!I also had the opportunity to meet senior executives from the automobile sport such as Martin Reiss, CEO of KHP consulting a World leader in event management and Bob Hermans a formal World champion with Subaru. Sept 21 2008 BRNO (CZ) aka "Freezing weather but hot engines"Race 1: 10thRace 2: 9thThis was our home race of the year as we all headed to Brno a small city in the far east side of Czech republic. The city must be unknown for the majority of the people, but for motorsport freaks Brno is known for his international race track (moto GP, A1 GP,GT races,etc...). We had a terribly cold september during the whole weekend but this was not enough to block us in the paddock. The team enjoyed a trouble free weekend and all the team drivers have been able to get in the Top 10. A result that helps us to keep smiling and be positiv. Special thanks to Julie and MJ for the little party after the races. Oct 7 2008 Thanks for everything + general newsThe Northern European Championship ends up earlier for me than for the rest of the croud. I take this occasion to say thanks to the whole Krenek team for this great year. I have been able to learn a lot through those weekends wit you guys. Special thanks to Wani! Your a wonderful person and will always be my friend. I wish you guys all the best for the last races!!! On my side, I am now managed by mister Bob Hermans a prior rally World champion. Big stuff is under discussion for next year. I will have several tests this winter, and the first one will be next week in Dubai to test the new Speedcars series car. Stay tuned for upcoming pictures. Oct 22 2008 Dubai (UAE) Speedcar Series testLast week was a really special one for me. First time in the Middle-East, and first time to test the new Speedcar Series. Everything went really well and i enjoyed trying something new. As you can image, such a car is completely the opposit of a Formule Renault car. Despite having to adapt to this situation, i had a lot of fun and an interesting experience. Thanks to the Speedcar Series for the invitation and Johnny Herbert for all the tips!!!The pictures are available in the gallery. Next test is allready in 2 weeks with the Renault Megane racing car @ Paul-ricard racing track in south of France. Nov 16 2008 Paul-Ricard HTTT (F) Megane trophy test +Dubai (UAE) Speedcar Series testI received an invitation from the italian team OREGON to test their Megane trophy at Paul-ricard track in South of France. I have to admit that the car is really smooth and lovely to drive around. As usual it is hard to adapt to a new car but we have been able to drive around 100laps which made it really interesting. After some few days break, I went back to Dubai for a second test in Dubai with the David Price Team from the UK. This test was set to get more time in the new Speedcarseries car. I was happy to spend a lot of time with Sakon Yamamoto as we booked in the same hotel. It's always really nice to hang around with him as he is a really friendly and positiv person.
